The neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by the depletion of neuronal physiology and death as a virtue potential oxidative stress. Parkinson’s disease is one debilitating wherein dopaminergic neurons results mainly in motor dysfunction. present study was focused to neuroprotective effect ethanolic extract Portulaca quadrifida L. (Portulacaceae) against like symptoms. experimental designs included were rotenoneinduced locomotor impairment Drosophila model haloperidol-induced catalepsy rat model; both resembling dysfunction observed clinically disease. behavioral parameters evaluated.
